Number 8…Australia!!!

Be conscious of where you sit in an Australian Taxi!!!

Good morning my people… I am quite sure many of us do not see where we seat in a taxi as a big deal… But in some cultures, its actually a big deal… In movies and pictures, it is customary to see people taking a ride in a taxicab sitting in the back of the vehicle. Your Etiquette 101 class might have taught you that it is the proper way to ride a taxi if you are the only one in it. But in Australia, it is considered snobbish to sit at the back. Australians often sit in front with the taxi driver.

  1. What kind of culture is this .. pls is it only limited to car? How about Bus, Train and aircraft, some cultures need to be reviewed.. Crab service is to take me to my destination where I sit should not create any offence … “abuse of human right”

  3. I don’t think sitting opposite should be a problem when hire a grab. As for me grab driver should not be bordered where passenger will sit as long as he get paid. But let me zero my mind sitting at the back of taxi when travel to Australia

  4. I personally think that women and girls should sit in the back as it is quit dangerous to sit in front. The driver might able to assault us in any kind of way. Sitting at the back would help us to easily escape if anything should happen

  5. I don’t think is normal for a taxi to choose where a passenger should sit, it is true that we can’t change it because that is their culture
Thanks for your information I have known that now
